What makes Requena cava special?

Requena is one of the regions with the longest history of cava production in Spain. Its altitude and Mediterranean climate provide a natural acidity ideal for creating fine bubbles, fresh aromas, and a unique personality.

Both are made using the traditional method, but cava is 100% Spanish. It uses Mediterranean varieties such as Macabeo, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir, giving it a fresher, more floral, and more accessible profile than Champagne.

At Cavas Marevia we make organic and vegan cavas, from the Brut Nature drier to the Rosé More fruity. They all share the same principle: respect for the land and an unmistakable Mediterranean character.

Cava is incredibly versatile: it pairs well with tapas, rice dishes, sushi, white meats, or light desserts. Our advice: don't wait for a celebration to open a bottle; cava can be enjoyed all year round!
